: (1) Constitutional bodies existing at the time of commencement of this constitution and provided for in this constitution shall be deemed to have been established in accordance with this constitution and matters pending in such bodies shall not be deemed to be hindered from being re-enacted under this constitution.
(2) The head or officer of the constitutional body existing at the commencement of this Constitution shall be deemed to have been appointed in accordance with this Constitution and shall remain in office subject to the conditions of service at the time of his appointment.
(3) Officials working in the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission and the Public Service Commission in excess of the number mentioned in this Constitution at the time of commencement of this Constitution shall continue in their positions subject to the conditions of service at the time of their appointment.
